Potential New Layouts

Firstly: The comm has reached 188 members! For a one-shot that was only published earlier this month, that's a very good number, and it makes me excited to see what the community will bring when Gate 7 starts for real in February.

Secondly: While the publication of the first chapter is still over three months away, I thought it would be a good idea to change the comm's current layout. There are four options behind the cut, but I decided against making a poll as it would be excellent if the members could recommend their own layout ideas, too.





① Layout from trodain.
(This layout can be likened to the comm's first car: it is solid, dependable, and kind of boring.)



② Layout from spire.
(As you can see, the header is a poor imitation of Gate 7's second colored illustration. I'm hesitant to use any detailed coloring method that doesn't resemble CLAMP's colored artwork at this point, as we not only have no defined color schemes for the characters, but no defined coloring style. I don't want to misrepresent the series' visual style this early on in its publication.)



③ Layout from refutare.
(I personally am fond of this one, since it features Chikahito [?]. Judging by the fanworks produced thus far, the poor kid is probably going to meet the same fate as Hideki: main character, but completely ignored by both CLAMP and the fandom.)



④ Layout from airmilk.
(This is actually my favorite layout from airmilk/flagorneur, but it would be a pain to try and make it community-friendly. What do you guys think?

If you prefer any of the above layouts, please leave a comment noting your vote for 1, 2, 3, or 4 (with suggested changes, if applicable). If you have another suggestion for a layout, please leave a link to it and your recommendations for alterations, color schemes, a header, and so on. Should we receive enough suggestions for new layouts or headers, I'll put up a genuine poll post later on with all of the available options.
